I purchased most of our nursery furniture at Walmart.ca. They have a better return/exchange policy AND much better pricing compared to other furniture websites. Others carried all of the same things but their pricing was much higher and they refused to reimburse for damaged products and refused to price match as well.

Bouncy Chair: Bright Starts (Baby L didn’t like the Ingenuity one very much even though it had many more options for height, music, recline and vibrations https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtzAzsJ1muc (other kids enjoyed it so it was good for babies who visit) Wrap/Carrier: Baby Beluga and Baby Bjorn (I bought both - see blog post for my recommendations and differences)

I used bamboo swaddles as the bassinet sheets. The bamboo ones are long, stretchy and easy to wash.

Playmats: I own 3 which I equally used. They were different sizes and had different uses. I kept the biggest one in my car for when visiting others and wanted to lay him down for tummy time. Newborn stage: Playgro Dino Gym. Infant stage: Ball Playnest Gym Play Mat (I still use this at toddler age as I purchased more plastic balls and he uses it as a ball pit). Crawling/sitting stage: Baby Einstein Jumbo Book Mat Playgym.

Humidifier: Vicks Cool Mist
